Through artistic research, Salva G. Ojeda and Helena Laguna Bastante explore the body as a space of transformation. G. Ojeda draws on the image of the bodybuilder to question the ideals of definition, strength, and visibility associated with both bodybuilding and image technologies. Laguna Bastante proposes bending as a mode of adaptation, attentiveness, and openness to the surrounding environment. Both practices shift the focus away from the fixed representation of the body and toward processes of change, tension, and movement.
